Old Sheldon Church Ruins Wedding {Lea + Jon} Yemassee and Charleston, SC

I have always wanted to photograph a wedding at Old Sheldon Church Ruins. A few months ago my dream came true. Lea a photographer herself who I met by assisting at a few of her weddings surprised me by asking me to photograph her wedding. I couldn't say no. Lea and Jon had their first look in Jon's back yard overlooking a picturesque marsh. Afterwards we drove to Old Sheldon Church Ruins and I had an opportunity capture absolutely stunning images in this dream of a location. Lea surprised us all once more when she walked down the aisle in a second gown. Wooden pews on a grassy ground and a Celtic cross adorned the ceremony site. Lea and Jon tied the knot surrounded by their children, family and close friends. A candle lit intimate reception was held at High Cotton with delicious food. I'm so thankful to have had an opportunity to photograph this breathtaking wedding!

Special thanks to all the vendors.
