Anniversary Photography Session at Botany Bay {Emily + Neil}

It's a champagne sipping, macaroon sharing and sunset watching on the beach anniversary kind of a session. Can I just say I love this couple! I photographed their wedding over a year ago at Pepper Plantation and they flew back from NY to celebrate their one year anniversary in Savannah and Charleston. It was so good to see them again and I'm honored that they asked me photograph their anniversary session. Botany Bay always wins me over and it seems to impress a lot of my clients as well. So here's a few of my favorites!

IOP Beach Family Photography Session

Before photographing this session I wasn't super familiar with IOP so I scouted and scouted till I found this perfect walkway with palm trees and blooming flowers surrounded by sand dunes. Living near the beach you forget how fortunate you are and everything starts looking the same. I'm thankful that I allowed myself to slow down and discover the beauty surrounding me. It's truly a blessing to live in a city that is a vacation spot for so many. I took so many photos of these two siblings. I mean can they not be the most perfect little kids! So excited to share these photos and had to include a few I shot of the landscape before and after the session.

Family Photography Sessions in Charleston, SC

I have worked with so many families in the past few months so I figured I'd bundle three family sessions into one blog post. I tend to book very large groups that include grandparents with their kids and grandchildren. We have a lot of fun controlling "chaos" of little ones running around and climbing on trees. To be honest I don't mind it at all because I prefer a more natural look for family portraits anyways. Here's some family love that is just busting at the seams! I made sure to include some outtakes because they are just too funny and precious not to keep. :)
