Have you ever found something that you knew was your destiny? You knew without a shadow of a doubt that this is what you were created to do? This is how I feel when I pick up my camera! I lose myself behind a lens with endless possibilities. I feel truly blessed to do what I love. I grew up dabbling in everything creative ranging from painting, to drawing, to sewing, to knitting and to even building mud villages in the back yard. I was at a complete loss when I had to pick a major not knowing what creative thing to do, but my question was answered when I took my first photography class. I fell in love! From then on I have not been able to put my camera down. Friends started asking me to do their weddings one after another. I started shooting as a backup photographer for several different companies. Eventually I ventured on my own and never looked back. I appreciate the glimpse you guys give me into your lives and allow me to capture those moments. My photography philosophy is be who you are whether it’s funny, goofy, flirty, serious, stylish, giggly and even teary eyed. Do what you want even if it’s getting in the water in your wedding dress, climbing a tree or running bare feet through a field. I want you to have fun in front of the camera as much as I have behind the camera!
