This Thanksgiving my sister and I went to visit our parents upstate. We also packed a couple of color coordinated outfits for our sister + sister photo shoot. It was crazy chaos trying to get the doggies to cooperate but we managed to get a few great shots and a whole lot of funny outtakes. Almost froze being outside in the cold but I'm thankful for these fun images together. I'm also thrilled about having a few new photos of me for my website!

Snow Adventure + Kitty Cat + Valentines Day
For a while I have been wishing to play in the snow. Living in Charleston I feel like I miss the four seasons. Every Fall I like to get away into to the mountains to see leaves change colors but I have not been so fortunate to see a white winter. Well I finally got my wish. While spending some time upstate it snowed! I was so excited I could hardly contain myself! As soon as I saw snow on the ground in the morning I ran out in my pjs and flip flops just to catch a glimpse of it. Later on I tried sledding and even built a snow man. On Valentines Day I decorated the snowman with hearts. Yes, it's kind of silly but I loved every minute of it. On a side note I hope everyone had a fantastic Valentines Day even if most of you were snowed in. I'm also sharing a few images of my new cute friend Anuta. She is quite the little model with her gorgeous green eyes. :)

Exploring Brookgreen Gardens
On my way back home from photographing a wedding in Murrells Inlet, SC I took a detour to Brookgreen Gardens. What a great idea and I loved every minute of this peaceful stroll.
Self portrait with a crisp reflection.
First signs of fall.

North-West Adventure {Seattle, San Juan Island, Olympic National Park}
I'm back from a very adventurous and breathtaking vacation! For the past 5 years my sister and I have been going on vacation together. In the past few years we have drove up the coastline of CA, seen the Grand Canyon, explored Nova Scotia Canada, Prince Edward Island, traveled throughout Italy and Island hopped in Greece. This year since our cousin was getting married and we haven't met most of our first cousins (all 56 of them) we decided to explore the north-west and attend a wedding at the end of our trip. I must admit I'm very pleased with our decision. I had such a blast meeting a lot of my cousins for the first time and spending more time with my aunts and uncles. Our trip began with exploring what Seattle had to offer. We walked throughout the city including a very crowded Pike Place Market where we got a taste of peroshky yum! Towards the evening we went up the Space Needle and I got a few shots of Seattle at dusk and city night lights. Then we took a ferry to beautiful San Juan Island. Between a hilly bike ride through the Island that almost killed my sister, to exploring the coastline, Pelindaba Lavender Farm, Lime Kiln Lighthouse and Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm we were worn out but at the same time enjoying every minute of this adventure. Afterwards we were of to Olympic National Park. After doing a lot of research and talking to a lot friends that have been there I couldn't pass up an opportunity to hike this absolutely breathtaking national park. My absolute favorite was Hurricane Ridge at dusk and sunset time where snow capped mountains can be seen on one side and fields of wild flowers where deer grazed meanwhile trying to keep my jaw from hitting the ground. hah! I basically ran up a mountain to capture a vibrant sunset and had to come down quickly before it got dark. The adventure does not end there we also explored/hiked Crescent Lake, Ruby Beach, Hoh Rainforest and Quinault Rainforest. Bond Ranch Retreat was our favorite place we stayed at surrounded by flowers. Tess made our vacation extra special by serving home cooked gourmet breakfast every morning. Wow what a trip!!
