North-West Adventure {Seattle, San Juan Island, Olympic National Park}

I'm back from a very adventurous and breathtaking vacation! For the past 5 years my sister and I have been going on vacation together. In the past few years we have drove up the coastline of CA, seen the Grand Canyon, explored Nova Scotia Canada, Prince Edward Island, traveled throughout Italy and Island hopped in Greece. This year since our cousin was getting married and we haven't met most of our first cousins (all 56 of them) we decided to explore the north-west and attend a wedding at the end of our trip. I must admit I'm very pleased with our decision. I had such a blast meeting a lot of my cousins for the first time and spending more time with my aunts and uncles. Our trip began with exploring what Seattle had to offer. We walked throughout the city including a very crowded Pike Place Market where we got a taste of peroshky yum! Towards the evening we went up the Space Needle and I got a few shots of Seattle at dusk and city night lights. Then we took a ferry to beautiful San Juan Island. Between a hilly bike ride through the Island that almost killed my sister, to exploring the coastline, Pelindaba Lavender Farm, Lime Kiln Lighthouse and Krystal Acres Alpaca Farm we were worn out but at the same time enjoying every minute of this adventure. Afterwards we were of to Olympic National Park. After doing a lot of research and talking to a lot friends that have been there I couldn't pass up an opportunity to hike this absolutely breathtaking national park. My absolute favorite was Hurricane Ridge at dusk and sunset time where snow capped mountains can be seen on one side and fields of wild flowers where deer grazed meanwhile trying to keep my jaw from hitting the ground. hah! I basically ran up a mountain to capture a vibrant sunset and had to come down quickly before it got dark. The adventure does not end there we also explored/hiked Crescent Lake, Ruby Beach, Hoh Rainforest and Quinault Rainforest. Bond Ranch Retreat was our favorite place we stayed at surrounded by flowers. Tess made our vacation extra special by serving home cooked gourmet breakfast every morning. Wow what a trip!!
